PowerVox evolved from Serenwood - a commercial consultancy I have run for fifteen years inside boardrooms, executive teams and complex transformation programmes. The work has been in environments where the wrong word costs a deal, a mandate, a contract. Law. Political environments. Negotiation. Restructure. The rooms where communication is not a soft skill - it is the operating condition.
Root to Grow is the programme I built because the women in those rooms kept asking me the same thing: "How do I do what you do - under that pressure, in that room, without losing myself?"
It is not a confidence course. It is not voice coaching in the theatrical sense. It is the structured, practised work of saying the real thing β under pressure, under scrutiny, under consequence - and being heard exactly as you intended.

Root to Grow takes you from self-protective communication to intentional, high-impact voice under consequence. Over six weeks, in a small cohort of senior women, you'll do the work that most leadership programmes skip entirely: learning to say the real thing, in the room that matters, when the stakes are high.
This isn't about being louder. It's about being clearer. It's about knowing what you think, saying it without apology, and holding your position when the room pushes back.

Seeing It Clearly
You'll analyse your own communication using The Black Egg β our AI-driven voice analysis tool β and see, for the first time, the gap between what you intend and what actually lands. Awareness before action.
Understanding the Mechanics
Why do you soften under pressure? Why does your voice change depending on who's in the room? This phase unpacks the patterns, the triggers, and the environments that shape how you show up.
Practising in Safety
In a safe, facilitated cohort environment, you practise saying the things you've been holding back. Power Room simulations put you in high-stakes scenarios β stakeholder pushback, board-level challenge, difficult upward conversations β so you build the muscle before the real moment arrives.
Applying in Reality
Theory meets the real world. You prepare for a specific, real conversation using the PowerVox preparation framework β then you go and have it. Your cohort holds you accountable.
Integration
You re-analyse your original message from Week 1 and see the distance you've travelled. You build a personal voice compass β your principles for communicating under consequence β and leave with a practice that lasts.
